PSYCHOTHERAPY/CAREGIVER SUPPORT
I provide individual and family psychotherapy for adults and older adults. Depending on the presenting issues, I draw upon several therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapies. Given my areas of expertise, therapy is often focused on coping with illness and functional limitations with the goal of maximizing quality of life in the context of what is most valued.
Individuals and families seek caregiver support for several reasons, including the need for education about their loved one’s condition and the need for emotional support as they are faced with different caregiver stressors. Issues that are frequently addressed include role changes, changes in identity, health problems associated with caregiving, and emotional distress.
A 55 minute session is $180.00.

The only insurance I accept is Original/Traditional Medicare. Please note, there is no guarantee your insurance company will reimburse my services as an out of network provider. Cash and check are accepted forms of payment. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
